A darkly humorous tale about friendship, redemption and betting against the odds, Conor McPherson’s Tony-nominated The Seafarer is set in the Dublin home of two brothers on Christmas Eve. When old friends gather for their traditional whiskey-laden card game, a sly stranger joins the mix.  As the booze flows and the banter intensifies, the game escalates to damningly high stakes.  After all, what fun is poker if your soul isn’t in it?
