Come experience the comfort, class and convenience of the Geffen Playhouse.

Women play a major role in this, our 12th season at the Geffen Playhouse. They are an integral and major part of this year’s theatrical experience.

In 2007-8 the gender female is with us as writer, director, actor, story and sensibility. Jane Anderson, Daniel Beaty, Marcus Hummon and Adrian Pasdar, Donald Margulies, Joan Rivers and the late Wendy Wasserstein are represented.

Our season shares moving performances by actors such as Christine Lahti and Laurie Metcalf.  These productions will be thought-provoking and sure to have you re-examining some of your long-held convictions.

I have little doubt the dramatic vibrations from LA's most beautiful theater will be felt not only on our stage, but throughout America and the world.

With a line-up comprised of a West Coast Premiere, an American Premiere and no less than three World Premieres, we present a season both as distinctive and diverse as the city itself. This is truly Theater for the Village of Los Angeles and I am thrilled to have you sharing the ride.
